We take pride in offering carefully selected Arabic percussion instruments curated by professional musicians. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

Due to the nature of our products and international shipping, all sales are considered final unless otherwise stated below.

We accept returns or refunds only under specific circumstances, as outlined in this policy.

If your item arrives damaged or defective, you must:

• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
• Provide:
  • Clear photos of the damaged item
  • Photos of the original packaging
  • Your order number

If the issue is confirmed:

• We may offer a replacement, partial refund, or full refund, depending on the situation.
• The resolution method is determined at our discretion.

Damage caused during shipping must be reported immediately.

Most of our instruments are handcrafted.

Please note:

• Minor variations in color, finish, engraving, or texture are normal
• Slight tonal or visual differences are not considered defects
• These characteristics are part of the instrument’s authenticity

Returns will not be accepted for natural handmade variations.

Sound perception is subjective and influenced by:

• Playing technique
• Head tension
• Environment
• Tuning preferences

For this reason:

• Returns or refunds are not accepted based on sound preference alone
• We strongly recommend reviewing product descriptions carefully or contacting us before purchase

Returns are only accepted if:

• The item is unused
• The item is in its original condition
• The item is returned in its original packaging
• The return has been approved in writing by Darbuka Cat

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

• Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
• Original shipping fees are non-refundable
• We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments

We recommend using a trackable shipping service.

Customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, and clearance fees

If a package is refused or returned due to unpaid customs fees:

• Shipping costs will not be refunded
• Any refund issued will exclude original shipping costs

The following items are non-returnable:

• Used instruments
• Used drum skins
• Custom or special-order items
• Clearance or discounted items
• Gift cards (if applicable)

• Approved refunds are processed using the original payment method

• Processing times vary depending on the payment provider

• Shipping fees are non-refundable
